What our students say:

Lukas H.

Musician

"Initially, I thought that music theory was something super boring or just confusing and complicated. However, over the course of this class I realized that it didn't have to be confusing, I just needed a different perspective learning the material. This course gave me the perspective I needed to better understand the music theory in all kinds of music, from pop songs to classical pieces I learn on my instrument. Totally recommend!"

Marla

Multi-instrumentalist and worship leader

"I had always wanted to learn more about how to write music. Most music instruction doesn't include this, and there's a reason: it is very hard to teach! This course is a synthesis of so many concepts and tips on how to really excel in both songwriting and composing! The best I have seen."

Belle Jeanné

Pianist

"As a classical pianist, this course taught me a lot about chord shapes, scales, composition, and arranging. A couple months after I finished it, my first composition won silver prize in a world-wide competition."

Eva

Musican, medical doctor, and mom

"Steven did a fantastic job of making the class relevant to people at all musical skill levels. I highly recommend this course for anyone who would like to improve their musical improvisation skills!"

Do you teach lyrics?

Musical Creativity does not currently offer materials on how to write lyrics for songs. While lyrics are a critical part of songwriting, understanding the music side of a melody is equally essential to crafting a memorable and impactful song.

Our course is designed to teach the fundamental principles of songwriting, including melody writing, chord progressions, and harmony. Many songwriters have taken our course and reported significant improvements in their melodies and overall songwriting abilities. So, while we do not teach lyrics, we believe that our course can be an invaluable tool for any songwriter looking to improve their craft.

Do you offer refunds?
